Jak is a trans woman who is an experienced professional in the field of Inclusion, Equity and Diversity with extensive experience in HR and program management within the financial services and telecommunication/technology sectors.
She is also one of the chairs of an award-winning LGBTQIA+ employee network, so she knows a thing or two about creating inclusive and equitable workplaces.
She advocates for authentic action as the cornerstone of inclusion efforts, and she loves sharing her personal experiences and humour to provide practical tips on how to make a difference.
Her talks are informative, engaging, and inspiring, and they're sure to leave your audience feeling motivated to make a change.
She is also an experienced host and moderator of panel discussions, ensuring that all voices are heard.
Outside of her work, Jak volunteers with Birmingham Pride, Diversity Role Models, and the Fast Futures program. She also loves collecting books (her collection is seriously massive – over 500 books and counting) and playing tabletop role-playing games, like Dungeons & Dragons. Because nothing says "I'm a serious inclusion educator" quite like rolling some dice and pretending to be a mythical creature.
