Marcia Ore provides a range of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Consulting, Coaching and Mentoring, Training, and Facilitation services, which include conducting workplace discrimination investigations and supporting the Chair of Grievance Appeal Hearings.
Her professional life began as a Police Officer from 1982 to 2012, where became involved in championing equality, diversity, and inclusion in roles such as
• Ethnic Minority Recruitment Officer
• Vice-chair West Midlands Black and Asian Police Association
• Executive member - National Black Police Association and chair of the gender and sexual orientation subcommittee.
• Organiser of the first conference for Black and ethnic minority women serving in UK police services aptly titled ‘Women in the Shade’.
• Executive member - British Association of Women in Policing
• West Midlands Police - Women Sergeants Police Federation Representative.
Since transitioning from policing, she has continued seeking ways that she can make a difference by supporting individuals, teams, and organisations to improve DEI, across the public, private and voluntary sectors in the UK and North America.
Marcia holds several qualifications, including an MSc in Education, Management, and Leadership MA in Coaching and Mentoring for Personal, Business & Organisational Development. In September 2023 she will begin studies for a Postgraduate Certificate in Mediation.
