Char is a qualified NLP Practitioner and Personal Performance Coach.
Mental health and Autism advocacy play a huge role in what she does, facilitating workshops focussing on self-awareness, stress-management, confidence, and resilience. She is a champion for Stonewall Housing fundraising as a Co-founder of The Big Queer Poetry Show.
Alongside being a Mentor and collaborator with Just like us the UKs number 1 LGBT young people’s charity. Char is Director of People and Culture at Birmingham Pride and Education and Inclusion officer for the biggest global movement for queer people of colour UK Black Pride . As a late diagnosed person with Autism Char is proud to sit as Co-Chair of the board for Neurodiversity in business. This year she was featured in The Guardians Pride Power list for her work in DE&I and received a Rainbow Honour for her UKBP Self -care workshops, as well as being named in The 100 Visible Lesbian list and Top 100 DEI consultants.
